下第二四王護持，亦有二文：初聞教生欣、次「一心同聲」下同心說護。此初也。問：前說護持是諸菩薩，云何得言聞佛說此護持妙法各生隨喜護正法心？答：聞前佛勸護持妙法，故云聞說。

Below is the second part, the protection by the Four Kings, which also has two passages: first, hearing the teaching and giving rise to joy; next, from 'with one mind and the same voice' onward, speaking of protection with unified minds. This is the first. Question: The previous statement about protecting was by the bodhisattvas; how can it say 'having heard the Buddha expound this wonderful Dharma of protection, each gave rise to a mind of rejoicing and of protecting the saddharma'? Answer: They heard the Buddha earlier exhorting the protection of the wonderful Dharma, hence it says 'having heard... expound.'
