6.30

贊曰：品大分三，初略標勸、次頌廣明、後眾願護。初中分三：初告天女、次「若有」下標所欲行、後「是人」下勸弘此教。此初二也。初廣供養修福行，解了行處修智行。菩提資糧不過此二，甚深行處即二空如，故下文云「欲入深法界，應先聽此經。法性之制底，甚深善安住。」

Commentary: The chapter is broadly divided into three: first, briefly indicating the exhortation; next, verses broadly clarifying it; finally, the assembly vowing to protect it. The first part is divided into three: first, addressing the goddess; next, from "If there are" onward, indicating what they desire to practice; finally, from "such a person" onward, exhorting the propagation of this teaching. This refers to the first two. First, extensively making offerings is the cultivation of meritorious practice; understanding the spheres of practice is the cultivation of wisdom practice. The provisions for bodhi do not exceed these two. The profound sphere of practice is the tathatā of the two types of emptiness; hence the text below states: "Desiring to enter the profound dharmadhātu, one should first listen to this sūtra. The caitya of dharmatā is profound and well-established."
