6.300

經　爾時魔王子名曰商主，合掌恭敬說伽陀曰：「若有受持此，正義相應經，不隨魔所行，淨除魔惡業。我等於此經，亦當勤守護，發大精進意，隨處廣流通。」

Sūtra: At that time, a son of Māra named Merchant Chief joined his palms with reverence and spoke gāthās, saying:
"If there are those who receive and uphold this
Sūtra concordant with the true meaning,
They will not follow the conduct of Māra,
And will purify and eliminate the evil karma of Māra.
We also, toward this sūtra,
Shall diligently guard and protect it,
Giving rise to a mind of great vigor (vīrya),
To propagate it widely everywhere."
