6.34

下弘行，有二：一久學者能為開演，利他行；二初學者即應聽聞，自利行。十法行中略舉此二，以影餘八。或能說能聽二人雙勸。又隨是經王所在之處，即舉有經卷及行經處，皆應供養，修供養行。應除亂想等者，准《瑜伽》三十八，聽法之中，第三除散亂，深聽說法。式具如前明。

The following covers the practice of propagation, having two aspects: first, those of long study can unfold and expound it, which is the practice of benefiting others; second, those beginning their study should listen to it, which is the practice of benefiting oneself. Among the ten Dharma practices, these two are briefly cited to imply the remaining eight. Alternatively, it is a dual exhortation to the two persons: the one able to speak and the one able to listen. Furthermore, "follow wherever this king of sūtras is located" cites both places where the sūtra scroll exists and places where the sūtra is practiced, all of which should be offered to, cultivating the practice of offering. Regarding "should eliminate distracted thoughts" and so forth: according to the thirty-eighth chapter of the Yogācārabhūmi, among the aspects of listening to the Dharma, the third is eliminating distraction and listening deeply to the exposition of the Dharma. The formalities are fully explained as before.
