Commentary: Fifth, the buddhas explain extensively. The text is divided into three: 1. presentation, 2. explanation, 3. establishment. From "Good son, these tathāgatas" down, this is the initial presentation, which contains three: 1. presenting the time of manifesting the short lifespan, 2. presenting the reason for manifesting the short lifespan, 3. concluding the presentation of the short lifespan. This presents the time. The meaning of the five turbidities is distinguished as in the *Commentary on the Lotus Sūtra*. It is also a general presentation of the five turbidities.
