Fifth, regarding responding to capacities: thirty-two thousand devaputras, upon hearing the explanation of ‘The Lifespan’, all gave rise to the bodhicitta. Because their capacities prompted this response, they ought to hear it, and upon hearing it, they obtained benefit. The remaining benefits may be inferred accordingly.
