5.97

The sūtra states: 'With his every step, his merit in the present life will also increase, and he will rule as king with sovereignty, with inconceivable resonance, revered by all. For immeasurable hundreds of thousands of koṭis of kalpas, he will enjoy seven-jeweled palaces among humans and devas; wherever he is born, he will always be a king, with lengthened lifespan, clear and articulate speech, trusted and accepted by humans and devas, without fear, possessing great renown, looked up to by all. He will enjoy superior and wondrous joy in the heavens and among humans, obtain great power and influence, possess great majestic virtue, and have extraordinary, wondrous physical marks, peerlessly dignified. He will meet the Teacher of Devas and Humans, encounter good spiritual friends, and accomplish and fully possess an immeasurable accumulation of merit.'
