問釋迦種族及甘蔗種。《本行經》云：「大茅草王得成王仙，被獵師所射，滴血於地，生二甘蔗，日炙而開，出一男一女，男名善生，即甘蔗王，釋種乃其裔也。」

This asks about the Śākya clan and the Ikṣvāku (Sugarcane) clan. The Benxing jing says: "King Mahātṛṇa became a royal ṛṣi; shot by a hunter, his blood dripped onto the ground and produced two sugarcanes. Baked by the sun, they opened, producing a boy and a girl. The boy was named Sujāta, who was King Ikṣvāku, and the Śākya clan is his lineage."
