This asks about the shapes and appearances of worlds. "Sumeru" is the Wonderfully High Mountain; it unites the four continents, encircled by a single sun and moon. "Lotus" refers to the Padmagarbha world. The lion-shaped world is the most supreme among realms. Worlds are like vessels: some are tilted, some overturned, some facing upwards, and some horizontal. "Indra's net" is the net of Śakra; the net has a thousand jewels whose lights interreflect, illustrating the multiply layered and endless nature of worlds.
