問此諸山及眾寶莊嚴，仙人樂神充滿者何。乾闥婆，天帝之樂神也。此下是世尊領大慧所問亦釋也。
He asks why these various mountains are adorned with numerous jewels and filled with ṛṣis and music spirits. Gandharvas are the celestial king's music spirits. From here below, the World-Honoured One recapitulates Mahāmati's questions and also explains them.
