《入楞伽》云：「爾時，世尊聞其所謂大乘微妙諸佛之心最上法門，即告之曰：『善哉！大慧，諦聽諦聽，如汝所問，當次第說。即說頌曰：』」
The Ru Lengqie says: "At that time, the World-Honoured One, hearing his [verses on] the supreme Dharma gate of the subtle Mahāyāna and the mind of all Buddhas, said to him: 'Excellent! Mahāmati, listen attentively, listen attentively! As you have asked, I shall speak in proper order.' Then he spoke a verse, saying:"
