「大慧！非有因建立相者，謂初識無因生，後不實如幻，本不生。眼、色、明、界念前生，生已實已還壞，是名非有因建立相。」

"Mahāmati! What is the characteristic of affirming non-existent causes? It means that the initial consciousness arises without a cause, and subsequently is unreal like an illusion, fundamentally unproduced; the eye, form, light, and realm arise before a thought; having arisen, they become real, and having become real, they decay again. This is called the characteristic of affirming non-existent causes."
