The Tathāgata dhyāna is the Śūraṅgama samādhi. Cultivating this dhyāna, one ascends to the stage of wondrous enlightenment, perfecting pratyātmāryajñāna. The 'three kinds of blissful abodes': the Buddha takes the Śūraṅgama samādhi as the dharma of abiding, and the Land of Eternally Quiescent Light as the place of abiding. The Eternally Quiescent Light is the Nirvāṇa of the Three Virtues; do not the three kinds of blissful abodes reside in this? 'Inconceivable deeds' are the effortless, wondrous functions; they mean the whole essence arising into function to bring sentient beings to maturity.
