「復次大慧！二種自性相。云何為二？謂言說自性相計著、事自性相計著。言說自性相計著者，從無始言說虛偽習氣計著生。事自性相計著者，從不覺自心現分齊生。」

"Furthermore, Mahāmati, there are two kinds of lakṣaṇa of svabhāva. What are the two? They are attachment to the lakṣaṇa of the svabhāva of words, and attachment to the lakṣaṇa of the svabhāva of things. Attachment to the lakṣaṇa of the svabhāva of words arises from attachment to beginningless vāsanā of verbal falsehood. Attachment to the lakṣaṇa of the svabhāva of things arises from failing to realize the distinctions appearing from one's own mind."
