此疑相中，謂初果人於四諦法諦了無惑，即善見相，及前二種身見分別斷故，於諸法中更不生疑，自然明了邪正，不復餘外道處起大師想。為淨不淨者，不於佛處疑善不善，是為疑相不生也。

In this "characteristic of doubt," it means that the person of the first fruit has clearly and unerringly understood the dharmas of the Four Truths; this is the "characteristic of seeing well." Moreover, because the previous two kinds of discrimination regarding view of the body have been severed, they no longer produce doubt regarding phenomena. They naturally understand what is wrong and what is right, and no longer generate the thought of a great teacher regarding other non-Buddhists. "For purity or impurity" means that they do not doubt what is wholesome or unwholesome with respect to the Buddha. This is the non-arising of the characteristic of doubt.
