大慧菩薩摩訶薩復白佛言：「世尊！惟願為說自覺聖智相及一乘。若說自覺聖智相及一乘，我及餘菩薩善自覺聖智相及一乘，不由於他通達佛法。」

Bodhisattva Mahāsattva Mahāmati again addressed the Buddha, saying: “World-Honoured One! Please preach for us the marks of pratyātmāryajñāna and the One Vehicle. If you preach the marks of pratyātmāryajñāna and the One Vehicle, I and the other bodhisattvas will skillfully realize for ourselves the marks of pratyātmāryajñāna and the One Vehicle, and thoroughly understand the Buddha-dharma without depending on another.”
