揵闥婆本無城種，無智之人妄習所熏而作城想，此喻外道不達自心所現，起一異等見也。
A gandharva [castle] inherently has no seed of a city, yet people without wisdom, perfumed by false habituation, think of it as a city. This illustrates the tīrthikas' failure to penetrate what appears from their own minds, giving rise to views of identity, difference, and so forth.
