2.89

「復次大慧！如來說法離如是四句，謂一異、俱不俱、有無非有非無、常無常，離於有無建立誹謗，分別結集真諦緣起、道滅解脫。如來說法以是為首，非性、非自在、非無因、非微塵、非時、非自性，相續而為說法。復次大慧！為淨煩惱、爾焰障故，譬如商主，次第建立百八句無所有，善分別諸乘及諸地相。」

"Furthermore, Mahāmati! The Tathāgata's teaching of Dharma is free from such four propositions—namely, identity and difference, both and neither, existence and nonexistence, neither existence nor nonexistence, permanence and impermanence—free from establishing and slandering existence and nonexistence; it discriminates and compiles ultimate truth and dependent origination, the path, cessation, and liberation. The Tathāgata's teaching of Dharma takes this as foremost; not by nature, not by Īśvara, not by causelessness, not by minute particles, not by time, not by primordial prakṛti does he continuously teach the Dharma. Furthermore, Mahāmati! To purify the defilement- and jñeya-obstructions, like a merchant-leader he sequentially establishes the nonexistence of the hundred and eight propositions, skillfully distinguishing the characteristics of the vehicles and the stages."
