童蒙言初機也，既解說通，未必惟在初機，為對宗通言耳。宗通雖為修行，而言自證也。

"Beginners" (童蒙) refers to those of initial capacity. While the mastery of teaching is explained, it is not necessarily restricted solely to those of initial capacity; it is spoken in contrast to the mastery of the tenet. Although the mastery of the tenet is said to be for practitioners, it speaks of self-realization.
