「大慧！世論者，唯說身覺境界而已。大慧！彼世論者乃有百千，但於後時後五十年，當破壞結集，惡覺因見盛故，惡弟子受。如是大慧！世論破壞結集，種種句味因譬莊嚴，說外道事，著自因緣，無有自通。大慧！彼諸外道無自通論，於餘世論廣說無量百千事門，無有自通，亦不自知愚癡世論。」

"Mahāmati! Lokāyata adherents speak only of the objective realm of bodily sensation. Mahāmati, there are indeed hundreds of thousands of such lokāyata adherents, but in the latter time, during the final fifty years, they will destroy the compilation [of the Dharma], because pernicious perceptions, causes, and views will be abundant, and evil disciples will accept them. In this way, Mahāmati, lokāyata treatises destroy the compilation [of the Dharma]; with various phrases and clauses, embellished with reasons and metaphors, they speak of the affairs of the tīrthikas, clinging to their own causes and conditions, without any self-realization. Mahāmati! Those tīrthikas have no treatises of self-realization; within other worldly treatises they broadly expound immeasurable hundreds of thousands of headings of matters, lacking self-realization, nor do they themselves understand foolish worldly treatises."
