《入楞伽》云：「始造即捨無常者，非大種互造大種，以各別故；非自相造，以無異故；非復共造，以乖離故。當知是非始造無常。」二方便，謂同異更造之方便也。

The Ru Lengqie says: 'As for the impermanence of relinquishing at the initial creation, the great elements do not mutually create the great elements, because they are distinct; they are not created by their own characteristics, because they are not different; nor do they create together, because they are contrary to each other. One should know that this is not impermanence at the initial creation.' 'The two expedients' refers to the expedients of creating again through identity or difference.
