「如人夢中方便度水，未度而覺，覺已思惟：為正為邪？非正非邪。餘無始見聞覺識因想，種種習氣、種種形處墮有無想，心、意、意識夢現。」

"Just as a person in a dream employs expedients to cross a river, awakens before having crossed, and having awakened reflects: 'Was it real or was it false? It was neither real nor false.' The remaining beginningless causal conceptions of seeing, hearing, sensing, and cognising, and various vāsanā and various forms and places fall into the conception of existence and nonexistence, appearing as a dream of mind, manas, and manovijñāna."
