「大慧！如是菩薩摩訶薩於第八菩薩地，見妄想生，從初地轉進至第七地，見一切法如幻等方便，度攝所攝心妄想行已，作佛法方便，未得者令得。大慧！此是菩薩涅槃方便不壞，離心、意、意識，得無生法忍。大慧！於第一義無次第相續，說無所有妄想寂滅法。」

"Mahāmati, in this way, the bodhisattva-mahāsattva, at the eighth bodhisattva stage, sees the arising of vikalpa, advances from the first stage up to the seventh stage, sees expedients such as all dharmas being like illusions, crosses over the mental vikalpa-activities of grasping and grasped, applies the expedients of the Buddha-dharma, and causes those who have not attained it to attain it. Mahāmati, this is the bodhisattva's uncorrupted expedient of nirvāṇa; free from mind, manas, and manovijñāna, they attain the forbearance of the non-arising of dharmas. Mahāmati, in paramārtha there is no succession of stages, yet I speak of the quiescent dharma where false imagination is nonexistent."
