"As for the supreme supramundane pāramitās: awakening to the grasping of the measure of vikalpa appearing from one's own mind, and to the duality of one's own mind, one does not give rise to vikalpa. One does not inappropriately grasp at rebirth in the various destinies, and does not cling to the forms appearing from one's own mind. For the sake of bringing peace and bliss to all sentient beings, one gives rise to the dāna-pāramitā, initiating supreme skillful means. Not giving rise to vikalpa regarding those conditions is morality, which is the śīla-pāramitā. When that very vikalpa does not arise, patiently knowing grasper and grasped is the kṣānti-pāramitā. With diligent skillful means throughout the first, middle, and late night, conforming to the skillful means of cultivation so that vikalpa does not arise, is the vīrya-pāramitā. When vikalpa is completely extinguished and one does not fall into the śrāvakas' grasping after nirvāṇa, that is the dhyāna-pāramitā. Discerning with wisdom that the vikalpa of one's own mind lacks svabhāva, not falling into the two extremes, having one's previous body transformed into something superior and indestructible, and attaining the noble realm of self-realization: this is the prajñā-pāramitā."
