此答第七問也。如來五住煩惱正習俱盡、二死永忘，豈復有魔業等事？然皆為眾生故，方便示現耳。此之七問七答，依經分節，或分為十、或節為六，讀者宜自詳之。

This answers the seventh question. In the Tathāgata, both the primary [afflictions] and vāsanās of the five dwelling afflictions have been completely exhausted, and the two kinds of death are forever forgotten; how could there still be demonic deeds and such matters? They are simply provisional manifestations for the sake of sentient beings. These seven questions and seven answers, when divided into sections according to the sūtra, are sometimes divided into ten, or into six; the reader should examine them carefully for themselves.
