"Just as I have spoken of all dharmas being without self, you should know this meaning: the nature of selflessness is selflessness. All dharmas have their own svabhāva and lack another's svabhāva, like an ox and a horse. Mahāmati! For example, it is not the nature of an ox to be a horse, nor the nature of a horse to be an ox; in reality they are neither existent nor nonexistent, and they are not without svabhāva. Just so, Mahāmati! All dharmas are not without svalakṣaṇa. They have svalakṣaṇa, but this cannot be known by fools who lack selflessness, due to vikalpa. In this way all dharmas are empty, unarisen, and without svabhāva—you should know it thus."
