將釋此經，十門分別：一教起所因、二藏部所攝、三顯教差別、四教所被機、五能詮教體、六所詮宗趣、七釋經題目、八部類傳譯、九義理分齊、十隨文解釋。

In intending to explain this sūtra, there are ten divisions of analysis: first, the causes for the arising of the teaching; second, the subsumption under piṭakas and divisions; third, clarifying the distinctions among the teachings; fourth, the capacities addressed by the teaching; fifth, the essence of the teaching as expressive signifier; sixth, the doctrine and purpose as expressed signified; seventh, explaining the title of the sūtra; eighth, the lineage of texts and translation; ninth, the scope and bounds of the doctrinal principles; tenth, commentary following the text.
