上句問：諸禪以何為境界？下句問：佛乘本一，因何而有三乘差別？如下四種，禪及三乘、一乘、覺中別答。

The upper line asks: What do the various dhyānas take as their realm? The lower line asks: The Buddha Vehicle is fundamentally one; why are there the differences of three vehicles? As answered separately below in the four kinds of dhyāna, the three vehicles, the ekayāna, and awakening.
