1.125

上二句問：小乘、外道、四空定，及滅正受。下二句問：滅受想定，想受既滅，何因復從定覺？若從定覺，滅義不成。

The first two lines ask about the four formless absorptions of the Hīnayāna and non-Buddhists, and the correct attainment of cessation. The last two lines ask: In the absorption of the cessation of perception and feeling, since perception and feeling have already ceased, by what cause does one awaken again from the absorption? If one awakens from the absorption, the meaning of cessation is not established.
