上二句問：真諦無，及俗諦有。下二句徵問：二見何得不起？非有立有，名常見；非無立無，名斷見。

The first two lines ask about nonexistence in ultimate truth and existence in conventional truth. The last two lines question: How can the two views not arise? To posit existence where there is nonexistence is called the view of permanence; to posit nonexistence where there is not nonexistence is called the view of annihilation.
