問：解脫是無學人，修行即是有學人。各有幾種？如下，須陀洹差別相中別答。

[Mahāmati] asks: Liberation refers to persons who have nothing further to learn (aśaikṣa), while practitioners are those who are still in training (śaikṣa). How many kinds of each are there? These are answered separately below, under the distinctive characteristics of the srotaāpanna.
