The principle of paramārtha-satya is non-dual, but because persons differ, realization has superior and inferior levels. These seven constitute the unarisen and unceasing Dharmakāya of the true consciousness mentioned above. "Realm of activity" (所行)—one edition has "objective realm" (境界), which means the realm of activity. That is to say, when a bodhisattva who has generated the mind focuses on the paramārtha dharmatā of the tathāgatagarbha mind, it is called the stage of resolution practice (adhimukticaryā-bhūmi) that is the realm of activity of mind. When bodhisattvas and others each give rise to ten kinds of wisdom focusing on suchness (tathatā), it is called the realm of activity of knowledge. Bodhisattvas of the first bhūmi directly realize suchness and see the two kinds of selflessness (dvi-nairātmya); hence it is called the realm of activity of the two views. Bodhisattvas of the eighth bhūmi transcend the two vehicles and transcend the seventh bhūmi; hence it is called the realm of activity transcending the two views. The tenth bhūmi transcends the ninth bhūmi—the ninth bhūmi is called the stage of the single child—and the realm of activity of the last two is the Buddha stage.
