問：世界形相差別不同者，明唯心所造故也。《華嚴經》云「種子差別故，果實生不同。行業若干故，佛剎種種異。」具如〈世界成就品〉所明。因陀羅者，即帝釋別名也。

[Mahāmati] asks about the differing shapes of world systems to make clear that they are made by the mind alone. The Avataṃsaka Sūtra states: "Because of differences in seeds, fruits grow differently; because of diverse karmic actions, Buddha-lands vary in many ways." This is explained fully in the chapter "The Formation of the World." "Indra" is another name for Śakra.
