此一頌半，上二句法說，謂非器不堪聞，實非不平等。次三句舉三喻況彼心無實。第三一句以法合喻，故云亦然。

In this verse and a half, the upper two lines are doctrinal explanation, meaning that non-vessels are incapable of hearing [it]; it is truly not a lack of equality. The next three lines raise three metaphors to illustrate that their minds have no reality. The third single line integrates doctrine with metaphor, hence saying 'is also like this.'
