注大乘入楞伽經 3.102

3.102

言有眾生妄計覺知我人眾生、長養士夫各各差別，以見神我，此是涅槃。復有執言自在天等以為作者，名為涅槃。此二即是無種性外道。

This means there are sentient beings who falsely impute an awareness that the self, person, sentient being, and nurturing soul are distinctly different, and by seeing a spiritual self, [hold that] this is nirvāṇa. There are also those who grasp at and assert that Īśvara and the like are the creator, calling this nirvāṇa. These two are precisely the heterodox who lack lineage.
