言此菩薩欲受佛位故，同類菩薩以為眷屬前後圍繞。一切諸佛從十方來，以手摩頂授以佛位。如轉輪王授太子王位時，以金鍾盛四大海水，灌太子頂上，授轉輪王位。譬諸佛皆申右手摩菩薩頂授法王位。

This means that because this bodhisattva desires to receive the position of a buddha, bodhisattvas of the same category act as his retinue and surround him before and behind. All the buddhas come from the ten directions and touch his crown with their hands, bestowing the position of a buddha. Just as when a wheel-turning king bestows the kingly position on the crown prince, he fills a golden vase with the waters of the four great oceans and anoints the crown prince's head, bestowing the position of a wheel-turning king. This is analogous to all buddhas extending their right hands to touch the bodhisattva's crown, conferring the position of Dharmarāja.
