此解無生，言就因緣中破生，故說不自生。若破生說無生，不是真無生。除住八地如幻三昧以上，是名真無生。

This explains non-arising: it means refuting arising within causes and conditions, and therefore speaking of not arising from self. If one refutes arising and speaks of non-arising, that is not true non-arising. Except when dwelling in the illusion-like samādhi of the eighth bhūmi and above, that is called true non-arising.
