3.60

化佛八相示成，應緣攝化，說六度治六蔽，離陰界入、解脫諸識相，隨宜建立諸法差別，超外道執見，越無色所行，謂外道取無色以為涅槃。

The Nirmāṇakāya Buddha manifests the eight phases of accomplishment, responding to conditions to gather and transform beings, teaching the six perfections to cure the six obscurations, separating from aggregates, realms, and bases, liberating from the marks of the consciousnesses, establishing the distinctions of dharmas according to suitability, transcending the clung-to views of non-Buddhists, and surpassing the realms of practice of the formless realm, as non-Buddhists take the formless realm to be nirvāṇa.
