4.143

言諸識等見習轉已名涅槃者，謂無明轉即變為明。如融氷成水，更非他物、不餘處來，故云即是諸法性空所顯真實境界。

Saying that the transformation of the habitual views of the consciousnesses is called nirvāṇa means that the transformation of ignorance is its turning into clarity. Just as ice melting into water is not some other thing and does not come from elsewhere, therefore it says it is the real realm revealed by the empty nature of all phenomena.
