4.145

明如來所證涅槃境界，離斷常有無性故。云何非常？謂除自共相妄想故非常。云何非斷？謂三世如來所證得故非斷。

This explains that the realm of nirvāṇa realized by the Tathāgata is free from annihilationism, eternalism, existence, and non-existence. How is it not eternal? Because false conceptualization of particular and common characteristics is eliminated, it is not eternal. How is it not annihilated? Because it is realized and attained by the Tathāgatas of the three periods of time, it is not annihilated.
