4.166

言離加持神力能說法者，諸凡夫應能說。言凡夫不能也。況佛以大悲加持一切無情之物，尚演法音，矧有心者乎！事見《月光童經》所明，但有見聞，無非獲益故。

Saying that if one could preach the Dharma without empowering spiritual power, ordinary beings should be able to preach; this means ordinary beings cannot. How much less so when the Buddha, through great compassion, empowers even inanimate objects to expound the sound of the Dharma—how much more so those with minds! This matter is seen as explained in the Candraprabha Kumāra Sūtra: merely seeing or hearing it, none fail to benefit.
