4.247

不以幻相有種種、人天有種種，二法相似，言一切法如幻。以一切法當體不實，速起速滅如彼電光，故說如幻。

[The commentary says:] It is not because illusory characteristics are manifold and humans and devas are manifold—these two phenomena being similar—that one says all phenomena are like illusions. It is because all phenomena are intrinsically unreal, swiftly arising and swiftly perishing like that lightning flash, that they are said to be like illusions.
