4.249

譬如電光剎那頃現，現已即滅，迅速無常。世間現見，類合諸法，依自心妄想現亦爾。不能觀察不實非有，而起執著自共色相。

[The commentary says:] Just as lightning appears for an instant and perishes as soon as it appears, rapid and impermanent, so too is that which is visibly seen in the world, collating all phenomena, which manifest depending on one's own mental parikalpa. Unable to observe that they are unreal and non-existent, they give rise to grasping at particular and common forms and characteristics.
