注大乘入楞伽經 4.31

4.31

一切有為唯除自體，以一切法為能作因，由彼生時無障住故。譬如國人，以其輪王不為損害，咸作是言：「我因輪王而得安樂。」

With the sole exception of its own substance, all conditioned things have all phenomena as their efficient cause, because when that [fruit] arises, there is no obstruction. It is like the people of a country who, because their wheel-turning king does not harm them, all say: 'It is due to the wheel-turning king that we obtain peace and joy.'
