大慧因上言自證真如境，了彼緣妄無有差別，故舉能證自覺聖智，及所證一乘行相以請問。欲得是善巧，不隨他教而自悟入。

Mahāmati, because of the earlier statement regarding the realm of personally realized suchness, understood that conditions and false conceptualizations have no distinction. Therefore, he brought up the noble knowledge of self-realization that can realize it, as well as the active characteristics of the One Vehicle that is realized, in order to ask about them. He wished to obtain this skillfulness so as to awaken and enter it by himself without following other teachings.
