愛為根本，能引生死輪迴，還有貪愛與身俱起，況如嬰兒緣於母故，養育成立。

Craving is the root, able to lead to the cycle of saṃsāra; there is also greed and craving that arises together with the body, just as an infant, by depending on its mother, is nurtured and established.
