言六識了境起計著時，生三習氣，熏習增長阿賴耶識，由是末那第七意俱，執我我所，恒審思量相續隨轉，無別體相。

This means that when the sixth consciousness cognizes objects and generates conceptual clinging, it gives rise to the three habit energies, perfuming and augmenting the ālayavijñāna; thereby, the seventh manas-consciousness together with it grasps at an ātman and ātmīya, perpetually deliberating, continuously following along, having no separate substantial characteristic.
