Non-Buddhists falsely conceive that the transformation of all natures is neither identical nor different, just like the ripening of milk into curd, wine, fruit, and so on. Because of milk one gets curd, so one cannot call them different; because their flavour and scent are not the same, one cannot call them identical. In reality they have no existence, and there is no dharma that can undergo transformation. Saying that dharmas exist or do not exist is the false manifestation of one's own mind, because external natures lack reality.
