6.209

上因佛言有諸法自性，不墮空見。大慧復欲設難料簡，還牒問言：若諸聖人以聖智能知、以慧眼能見，有諸法真實自性，非天肉眼所能知見，不同凡愚妄分別見。故大慧因此躡跡起疑，申五種難，望如來決也。

Above, the Buddha stated that there is an intrinsic nature of phenomena, so there is no falling into the view of emptiness. Mahāmati wishes again to raise objections and examine the matter, so he recapitulates the question, saying: If noble ones, being able to know through noble wisdom and see through the eye of wisdom, have a real intrinsic nature of phenomena that cannot be known or seen by the celestial or physical eye, and is unlike the false, discriminative seeing of ordinary fools. Therefore, following these traces, Mahāmati raises doubts and presents five objections, looking to the Tathāgata to resolve them.
