This is the fourth objection, showing that the ordinary realm is not false. It means that the natures and marks of phenomena exist of themselves, not existing due to discrimination. Why does the Buddha say that due to discrimination there are phenomena? World-Honoured One! The mark of the discriminating mind and the marks of the objective realms of phenomena are two different marks, and their causes are dissimilar; how can phenomena exist due to discrimination? Furthermore, for what reason is it said that ordinary fools discriminate phenomena, yet the nature of phenomena does not exist in such a way, saying that in order for sentient beings to abandon discrimination, the marks of phenomena seen according to discrimination have no such real phenomena? This raises an objection by showing that the realm seen by ordinary beings is real and not false, and does not exist due to discrimination.
